My wife and I bought one of Stephen Gibbons-Barrett's paintings a few years back. I loved it so much that I wanted to know more about the man behind it.  Here's a little preview.

The main historian in her family, it was an honour to hear and film Margaret Beach recollect stories about her parents, husband, and children and grandchildren. A truly remarkable woman.

I asked the musician Boris Sichon if I could take a portrait of his family.

He played me one instead.

Filming one's own family is never easy. So many feelings, emotions and memories – it makes it difficult to be creative, technical and present all at the same time. Here's a little snippet from a few hours with my dear mom.
